SUMMARY:Scottish Spring/Summer Meet
DESCRIPTION:The meet will take place over 3 weeks and will mostly be camping. It will be a moveable feast as we travel around mopping up Munros & Tops. Objectives\, in the most likely order\, are:\n– Cairngorms for Braeriach.\n– Carnmore in Fisherfield for A’ Mhaighdean and Ruadh Stac Mòr.\n– Torridon for Liathach and the hills round Glen Carron.\n– Skye Cuillin for Sgùrr nan Gillean and Sgùrr MhicChoinnich.\n– Glen Affric (SYHA Alltbeithe hostel) for Sgùrr nan Ceathramhnan and others.\n– Loch Arkaig for the Glendessary 4.\nWe will likely be staying 3 or 4 days in each area\, but plans will necessarily be fluid (and weather dependant). The meet may run into the 1st week of June if we get delayed by weather.\nIf you are interested in joining us for any (or all!) of the above escapades\, please contact Neil.\nA WhatsApp group will be set up for easy communication and for updates on our whereabouts.

DESCRIPTION:Andrew Todd has kindly offered to coordinate the above meet.\n\nHe has some ideas for a few fairly long\, high level & low-level routes with bail out options to suit all levels or some smaller Wainwrights if the weather comes in.\nIf it’s awful there are the climbing walls to go at and of course coffee shops.\n\nHe will put on a communal lamb/beef dinner on either Saturday or Sunday to make the best of the weather. Although I’d welcome some help with a soup starter. Puddings are easier to buy. Veggie/vegan is beyond his culinary skills. But there’d be plenty veg\, Yorkshires & onion gravy.

All the places there have now been taken by winter meet “regulars”.\nThere is another property in the village available for that week\, which sleeps up to 8 people in 3 double rooms (2 ensuite) and a twin room.\nThe cost for the week is currently £647\, to be divided between the occupants.
